Planning my wedding
I've just realised that I haven't mentioned my news on my blog - or at least if I have, I've glossed over it. I'm getting married in six months' time to a man who stole my heart almost 11 years ago and I couldn't be happier.
It finally sank in last week when I bought my wedding dress. It's the single most expensive clothing purchase I have ever made, but I adore it. It seemed fated when I walked into the bridal boutique and saw it there. Also - the bust size is a little too big, so the only alterations required are to make the bust and straps slightly smaller. That's a hell of an ego boost for a big beautiful woman like myself. :)
So I've been doing a lot of wedding planning on the weekends, around work and stuff, and it's surprising what I've actually managed to get done. Most of the big stuff is booked and it's actually surprised me how efficient and organised I've been.
Just wondering what the hell to do with my hair as I'm currently rocking a pixie cut. I like my pixie, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to want longer hair for the wedding day at least. I did consider clip in extensions, but I also know those can look awful with really short hair so hmmm... I'm not sure at the moment.
So I'm trying not to be a wedding bore but it can be a bit difficult when it tends to preoccupy my thoughts... thankfully my maid of honour has been beyond amazing and I think I would have had a stress fit before now if it wasn't for her.
More news as it happens. :)

Spring
Can you guys believe it's March already? How did that happen so fast? It only seems like yesterday we were putting the Yule decorations away for another year.
I'm K and this is my blog. I named it after the first three words that came to my fiancรฉ's mind when I asked him to describe me in three words. I like it - it's sharp, short and to the point.
I'm crazy in the sense that I love things that are kind of kooky. I'm a bit eccentric and a lot of my interests are alternative. Some people love that about me, some people hate it. Whichever, I couldn't give less of a flying fuck to be honest. I am who I am and I've learned the hard way that you can't please everyone. In truth, the only person you should be striving towards keeping happy all of the time is yourself.
I'm sexy - well, that's his opinion not mine but I do like playing with the sensual side of life. I adore clothes and the way fabrics feel. I like to be tactile. I'm learning to trust my body and to enjoy what it can do.
I'm witchy - well, this is one of the things I could talk at length about. I'm a traditional witch and Ovate, and I've been practising now for 12 years. I am also undertaking a course with the Fellowship of Isis, of which I am a member. All of these things underpin my basic spiritual beliefs which are (in brief) that there are gods and goddesses for every single imaginable aspect of humanity. I suppose you could call me a polytheist with elements of pantheism. My witchy nature is a huge part of my life so expect to see lots about it in this blog. :)
I commute to work each day and tend to update my blog during my train rides, so if I'm updating early in the morning I warn you that some of my ponderings might not make sense, haha.
That's basically me. I write this blog as an outlet and as a way to reflect on this crazy life I've been given to live. I welcome you if you're coming along for the ride.
